LTI believes that the more realistic the materials, the more realistic the model, the more accurate the calculations. LTI partners with LightWork Design (based in the UK) to achieve more accurate calculations and renderings by using real world materials with accurate photometrics and lighting measurements. Additionally, Designer's customizable material and object libraries allow you to build your own materials and objects - in addition to those included in Lumen Designer.

NEW! Material Libraries

Through LTI's partner LightWork Design, you have access to thousands of materials that can be used directly in Lumen Designer.

This includes entire libraries from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams.

Material Manager

The built-in library of materials includes a wide selection of materials to get you started - from 2'x4' suspended ceilings to flooring tile to asphalt.

You can customize any of the materials to create new ones - and add them to your own library.

Plus, you access the Lightworks' website to import even more materials.

Materials and Objects

Better materials make for better calculations and renderings.

Couple that with more realistic objects, and you have a powerful tool.

Designer includes a built-in library of objects with materials already assigned. Simply point and click to drop these objects into your space.

Plus, you can import objects from CAD, the Internet, or build your own. Simply apply Designer's materials to the surfaces and save it to your library.

Designer can support both a local library (on your computer) and a shared network-based library. Perfect from corporate-wide use.
