Advanced
Rendering Plug-In (Partially
available now!)
Main
Features

- Environmental
Effects : want to add fog to your outdoor
rendering? How about simulating the effects of smoke
in an interior environment and the visibility of Exit
signage? This features configures the software to
add these effects to your renderings.

Design
Features
-
Import
Simply Roadway and Simply Outdoor layouts
: Import your optimized layouts created in the Simply
Lighting Series.
-
Use and Save Pole Configurations
: Create custom poles or select from a library of
preset configurations. Also save pole configurations
you create to be used in another project.
-
Rack Configurations : Create custom
racks ideal for sports and floodlighting projects.
-
Symmetry Layout Tools : Design
only a quadrant of your project and Lumen Designer
will automatically mirror the design in the other
quadrants. Symmetry modes include quadrilateral,
bilateral and 45° (especially useful for baseball).
-
Association Layout Tool : Associate
multiple fixtures and/or racks together, aim one
of the fixtures and Lumen Designer will automatically
adjust the aiming of all associated luminaires.
-
Pole and Fixture Iso-Templates
: Utilize graphical display of the distribution
of the individual luminaires or poles to assist
you in placement.
-
Auto-Recalc
- Provides on-the-fly recalculation as changes are
made to the design for direct illuminance and light-blockage.
-
Advanced
3D Mesh Grid Creation : Project a grid
onto a complex 3D surface that is either imported
from DXF/DWG or created internally
-
Calculation
Metrics -TV illuminance for unlimited camera
locations.
-
Roadway Lighting Calculations -
Add a roadway to your site plan and calculate roadway
conditions as per IES and CIE guidelines. The following
metrics are calculated: roadway luminance, veiling
luminance, Small Target Visibility (STV) calculations
and changes for Pedestrian Conflict Areas (as defined
by IESNA RP-8-00).
-
Area and Sports Lighting Calculations
- Compute the following lighting metrics and statistics,
as per IES and CIE guidelines: Coefficient of variation
(CV), uniformity gradient (UG), glare rating (GR).
- Multiple
Printer Setup – The Output Manager
offers the ability to specify define up to 4 output
paths for printing your project report. Send summaries
to 8 ½” x 11” and CAD drawings
to a plotter or large paper format printer in the
same print job.
