Q: When
I try to save or print a rendering, I get the message, "Unable to share rendering context with
temp rendering context." What does this mean?
A:
This problem is a result of an incompatibility within the
system graphics card. Perform the instructions outlined below:
- Update
your video card driver by going to the web page of your
video card's manufacturer. This is essential, even if you
have a new card.
- If
updating does not work, go to the Control Panel ... Display
... Settings and look for controllers to your video card's
accelerators. Turn the accelerators down or off. Note: This
type of control may not be available for all video card
drivers.
- If
turning the accelerators down or off does not work, change
your color settings to a lower number of colors, at least
while running Lumen Micro. You do not need to reboot for
the changes to take affect. Turn the colors down one step
at a time and try to perform the rendering functions that
would lead to error. You may need to step all the way down
to 256 colors.
- It
is also a good idea to update Lumen Micro to the latest
build. See Updating Lumen Micro.
