Overview

Lighting Technologies' offers in-depth product seminars for Photopia. These comprehensive seminars give you hands-on experience using real-world projects. Group seminars are available; however, most Photopia users arrange a private seminar for their company and work on designs specific to their work.

Private Seminars

These seminars are developed to provide focused training on the topics that you are most interested in. These seminars can be scheduled here at LTI or at your office.

Photopia

Photopia training covers the following topics:

• Illumination fundamentals and terminology
• How Photopia works
• Material reflectance/transmittance properties
• Luminaire modeling in external CAD software
• Photopia's internal CAD system
• Analyzing the luminaire in Photopia
• Evaluating the photometric output
• Parametric Optical Design Tools
• Reviewing your specific interests and examples

Two and three-day seminars are available. The third day is typically devoted to specific design problems that you are particularly interested in.

• Transportation, accommodations, and meals billed as direct costs for off-site training.
• Photopia can be used with a 3D CAD application - please verify supported file formats.
